My name is Luke Gregory and I am 18 years old. The experience in media and voice that I have gained has come from my community station - Saint FM. I have also gained many skills during my time at college whilst studying Radio Production. I know I am fairly young and maybe not as experienced as other people however I can guarantee quality of product, commitment, professionalism and reliability.

I have been producing and presenting shows on my community radio station - Saint FM, since December 2007. I have presented across the broadcast schedule including, Breakfast, afternoon, lunchtime, Drivetime and weekend. During my school years, one of my academical strengths came from public speaking. I received top A grades in both my English and German speaking units. I also competed in public speaking competitions reaching regional finals for 3 years running. My part in these competitions was as vote of thanks however one year, I took on the responsibility of main speaker, where I delivered a powerful speech on the Chinese animal fur trade. I have also taken part in a German speaking competition in 2005. I also read a couple of passages for carol services and the local light up a life service in my area a few Christmases ago. At this moment in time, I am studying radio production at college and have gained significant experience in scriptwriting, recording and editing vocals. I have been involved in producing podcasts for the Essex police on topics including sexual assault and hate crime. I have produced radio commercials for professional businesses keeping to a brief and have presented sports radio shows for my college station.
Received A's and B's in my GCSE's at secondary school and have since go onto college studying radio production where I am on track for a triple Distinction. My next step is to go to university to study radio production at honours level to further my skills and knowledge. I should be on my way to Uni in the next 6/7 months and have had two offers, one from Bournemouth and the other from Westminster.
