My natural voice is a relatively neutral Midwestern middle-aged male voice, but on top of this I have developed a great deal of flexibility through years of mimicry and experimentation. I can act, I can improvise, and I take direction well.

I have a small amount of voice work experience from doing voice work for various placeholder and final voices for video games, and also a 900 number hint line for a game. I have been told I take direction well, and there are a lot of different accents, characters, and impressions in my tool set.
I have a BA in communications from Michigan State University, which included coursework in public speaking.
I took improv from Rebecca Stockley, a well-known and accomplished improv instructor in the SF Bay Area.

If you have a basic idea of the voice you want and it's somewhere within my range, we can find it together. If you have a less concrete idea, we can find the voice you're looking for within my range, and I can adjust or fine tune quickly as necessary. I can get into character or I can develop my own...you make the call.
