I am decent at mimicry and willing to give anything a try. Without changing my voice, it is in the medium range of female voices, medium volume, with a slight mid-west US accent.
I am able to change my voice for different ranges and volumes as well as a few accents.

While I have not done anything professional (I never knew where to start), I use to cohost a podcast and do voices for it. My experience comes from manipulating my voice and mimicking character voices on a regular basis since I was 12, maybe earlier. I use to entertain crowds (mostly of kids) by re-enacting the vocal parts (including songs) of complete movies (I even got requests I was able to fulfill about half the time). So, I suppose you could say I have had experience with group story-telling (complete with a variety of character voices).
In high school, I was briefly part of a character-acting troupe for trying out using a British accent on impulse. The idea of this troupe were competitions in which the actors played several roles in one script, making each character different enough that the audience knew who was talking. I never made it to any competitions because, when we moved, I became part of the regular high school theatre that did not engage in acting competitions.
Finishing my BA in psychology beginning of 2010.

I'm willing to try anything! Obviously, I know my experience is not an impressive record, so I'm quite willing to be cheap. I have always loved the idea of voice acting, I just never knew where to start and have never had the money, knowledge, or support to go where auditions might be held.
I have a quiet apartment with decent recording equipment. If you are near enough to me, I will be willing to travel to a better recording facility.
