Dr. Yvonne W. Fry Johnson (Yvonne) is a Pediatrician, Medical Researcher, Speaker, and Trainer with a career spanning 28 years and filling a 26 page curriculum vitae. More importantly, she is the mother of three incredible children with whom she has developed and shared unique skills and life experiences. In the process of this extensive career and life path, Dr. Johnson has traveled the world...presenting at International Conferences in both China and S. Africa; National conferences in Hawaii and Puerto Rico, and all but 8 of the states of the USA. She has trained New Medical Directors for Community Health Centers over a ten year period for the National Association of Community Health Centers, consistently receiving rankings averaging 4.8/5.0. As a trainer within a Medical School Faculty Development Program, her rankings are again consistently in the 4.8-5.0/5.0 range over a 5-6 year period (training in presentation skills and writing for the medical literature.) Finally, this Black American (African American) woman was born in Los Angeles, California--graduated from Beverly Hills High School, and was subsequently educated/employed in various venues across the entire country...thus she possesses an unusually expansive view of the world, translated consistently into her smooth interactions with persons of diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
Doing voice-overs is a very new start, however Yvonne has been the voice for several medical clips in the past (most recently for the National Childhood Immunization Coalition on-line video question, "If I take the flu vaccine will I contract the flu?". (Answer: NO! :-) but, given with more explanation.)
Drawing on her experiences as a physician, researcher, speaker, trainer, mentor, faculty member, mother and pediatrician...Yvonne has a versatile voice which is optimally directed towards medical and healthcare or public health information distribution, corporate narrations, ebook or audiobooks, e-learning modules, podcasting and documentaries: but flexible enough to do all others mentioned in special skills.
Yvonne W.
