Most of my "Voice Work" has been in a retail setting. For about 2 years I worked at a local electronics retailer. My job was loss prevention and, since I had so much time of just standing there. I wrote little blurbs to speak over the intercom. I started with small ads for customers to visit our Home Theater department. The store manager claimed that our sales were up a few percentage points every day I worked and that he wanted me to do more.
So I did.
I have had several people tell me that I should pursue voice acting over the last 6 years now, but I never knew how to really start. Now I think I have the right place for it.

I don't have any professional voice-over experience, but I do have an uncanny tendency to get people's attention with the way I speak.
I'm an early (Mid-year) High School graduate. While there I took 1 semester of a theater class. I wouldn't put too much weight on that though. Currently I'm taking a break from Community College (Majoring in Photography) and working full time for a retailer.

Voice? ;-D I'll be trying out for different job postings as I come across them. I guess we'll see what services I can offer once I get some more experience.
