Highlights

Walter Lutsch is a bit of a renaissance man. From voice acting, to directing to writing, photography and more, his professional acting career spans over eight years. He served as the Master of Ceremonies and Game Announcer for the Bellingham Blazers Hockey team during their 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 seasons. In 2013, he founded Viking Radio Theatre, a student produced radio drama program at Western Washington University and served as Production Director for it's first four seasons, as well as continuing to act in various episodes as the show continues. As a voice actor, his voice is known for being deeper with a rich resonance. Movie trailer voices, epic announcers and confident narrators come very naturally, as well as a range of young adult to middle aged authentic and approachable styles. As Production Director for Viking Radio Theatre, Walter had the pleasure of casting and coaching up and coming voice actors in the Pacific Northwest, and has extensive experience as a voice director as well as an actor, which allows him to communicate smoothly and effectively on either side of the recording studio wall.

Service Description

I have been the Production Director for Viking Radio Theatre, a college radio drama program hosted at Western Washington University, for four seasons. While my first love was acting, I have become a skilled director and voice coach as well. I enjoy helping actors find the right voice for a project and developing a shorthand about what I or another director is looking for in a performance.
Directing others and working with other directors during the four seasons our show has been on the air has only made me more familiar with my own range and how to arrive at a specific tone or feeling in a voice based upon the description given.
I've been on both sides of the recording booth wall and am dedicated to improving my own performance and delivering what is needed to make a project shine.

I've been a writer, actor, director and sound editor, so I am able to work on various aspects of a project. I have experience introducing foley effects and background ambience into audio and would be happy to help with script work or writing/revising copy.
