I have been a professional actress and voice talent for over 20 years and have been recording voice overs in Greek, German, European English and French (though my French is not entirely accent-free and only used when a client prefers to have only ONE voice record announcements in 3 or 4 languages. I am an awards winning actress (admittedly in my own country) and commercials with my voice have also won awards in various advertising festivals. I started with dubbing films into Greek such as Lion King1+2, 101 Dalmatians, Pocahontas 1+2 and then went on mainly to recording commercials, corporate videos, narrations, guides, product presentations, security announcements, IVR, telephone call centres and many more. My voice is very versatile..I am suited to pretty much anything from business, industrial, corporate, mature, cool and fairy neutral to upbeat, playful, maternal, warm, reassuring, sexy, happy, fun, and characters such as strict teacher, dumb chick, neurotic, nagging housewife, bored operator, humorous, and pretty much anything except hard selling screaming-over-the-top commercials. I have done commercials for hundreds of major brand like VW, Mercedes, Estee Lauder, Garnier, Fischer Price, Dove, Nestle, Colgate, Veet, Lancaster, Wella, Mothercare, Knorr, Barilla, L’Oreal, Estee Lauder, British Airways and Aegean Airlines announcements, Fox Life, Vodafone, 2004 Athens Olympics and Greek Tourist Board (in 4 languages)
Greek, German, English, French
French, German, Greek, North American, US General American (GenAm)
Business, Educational, Internet, Movie Trailers, Podcasting, Radio, Telephone, Television, Videogames
I am Austrian-Greek, and grew up in Vienna, Berlin and Athens where I completed the German Abitur and then went on to study theatre in the UK for 6 years.
Returning to Athens I acted in films (2 best actress awards for feature and short), theatre (mainly in Athens but also London, Vienna, Warsaw, Paris, Brussels), and TV (leads on 8 Tv shows in Greece). I then went on to directing and teaching. My career as a voice talent started about 20 years ago. I have worked in Greece, but have been recording voice overs in 4 languages (Greek, German, English and French) and have occasionally been flown abroad for special projects. (British Airways-London, Vodafone-Boston) Although German and Greek are my main languages, I do numerous voice overs in (European) English on a regular basis. I also do some work in French, but mainly for clients who feel they prefer to have the same voice record announcements for airports, planes, and voice mail in all 4 languages.
I would say that my advantage and the reason I have been working for so many years, is that my voice is extremely versatile and unrecognisable. I can do straight commercial (not hard selling!), soft and sexy, maternal, business, educational and caring, professional and cool, and many kinds of characters from funny, hysterical, neurotic to strict teacher-like, and spoiled “stupid” chick, ditzy.
I first started with dubbing movies into Greek (Pocahontas 1+2 (as Pocahontas), Lion King 1+2 (as Nala), 101 Dalmatians (as Anita), Titan (as Akima) and then quickly moved on to commercials, corporate videos, IVR , museums, call centres, and various security announcements. Work in all 4 languages includes commercials for the Greek and Cypriot Tourist board, Security announcements for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, The 2011 Special Olympics in Athens, announcements for British Airways, Aegean Airlines, Minoan Lines (ships) and I have been the voice for the Vodafone menu in greek and english since 2004 and the announcer for the stops in the Athens Tram way. Clients I have worked for include (I will only mention some of the international brands) :
Vodafone, Garnier, Vichy, Swiffer, Dove, VW, Samsung, Nestle, Sony, Milner, Knorr, Eurobank, Fisher Price, Koleston, Schwarzkopf, Glade, Always, Action Aid, Accessorize, Wella, FoxLife, Veet, Mc Arthur Glenn,Barilla, Estee Lauder, Lancaster, Sanitas, Pantene, Noxema, Ace Gentile, Colgate,Mercedes, Bepanthol, Fanta, Buscopan, Jacobs,…and many more.
I attended the German School In Athens, where I completed my German Abitur. Subsequently I attended The Rose Buford College of Speech and Drama (London UK) B.A. Hons. Theatre Arts and after that the Royal Holloway and Bedford New College (London UK) M.A. Theatre Studies. I have participated in a plethora of seminars and workshops all over the world in many acting techniques, clowning, directing, writing for the stage and pretty much anything connected with the theatre profession. I am a member of the Actors Union of Greece, the Voice Over Talent Union of Greece and was a provisional member of British Equity when I lived in the UK.

A small project like a commercial can most probably be delivered the same day maximum the next. So for safety I would say 48 hours. Longer projects however might take a few days because of current pregnancy and soon to come baby.
I am able to record at home and send uncut files . I can only record a dry read for the time being, nothing else. If the client requires professionally edited material, I will have to send it to a sound technician and that will take a little longer and will have a small added cost, since I will have to pay for the service. I can most definitelly copy-edit in Greek, German and English and would gladly offer advice on how to polish up a script based on my 20 years of experience for a small fee. I can not do the recording simultaneously with a phone or Skype call, but will gladly listen to directions over the phone or Skype before the recording.
