Acting experience includes several years of voice acting for Sigma Phi Kappa Productions --- for which I was nominated for the award of Best Voice Actor in a Star Wars Audio Drama --- and staged musical performances through the Performing Arts Series of New Mexico Tech. Parts I have played include Mercury from Orpheus in the Underworld and the brother Dan from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. My singing range extends from mid-Baritone to high Tenor.
I took three years of stage performing arts classes at St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and additionally spent my entire career there in the marching and concert bands where I played the Baritone Horn. I also took three years of German and one of Russian. At New Mexico Tech in Socorro, New Mexico, I trained under Paul Barrientos in stage and voice performance, including the belting style of singing.

My process is as follows: I'll read the provided script, going over it multiple times both in my head and vocally to get a sense of what exactly is being communicated. (Context is really useful for this! Not necessary though.) Getting a feel for the script usually doesn't take me very long, and if I have the opportunity, I'll go over it mentally even while doing other things. Once I feel like I know the part and the "character" of the narration, I practice. I'll record a few files, throwing away anything that is clearly wrong. After a few recordings and listenings, all done in one sitting, I'll pull through with the final product; this may need to be tweaked in post, but I will do this as well; largely this is in the event that I have to stop, or missed a word somewhere. The final product should be seamless.
