Nothing rhymes with orange and no one else delivers the unique read that distinguishes your message from your competitors the way Bill Lord does.
When narrating audiobooks, Bill brings manuscripts to life through vivid plot narration and the creation of living, breathing, and relatable characters. When delivering commercial copy, he uses these same skills to take complete ownership of the copy and deliver impactful reads that connect the listener to you and provoke the call-to-action that brings customers to you, your website, or your phone.
Bill coaches with David Goldberg, Johnny Heller, Carol Monda, and Sean Pratt and has participated in training sessions with Robert Fass, Kathe Mazur, Paul Ruben, Paul Meier, and Tavia Gilbert. He also teaches Edge Studio's Investigate Voiceover classes in Washington, D.C.
Having lived in Chicago, Boston, Detroit, Virginia Beach, Washington, D.C., and on Cape Cod, MA, Bill has been provided with a wealth of experiences and people to draw upon when creating characters and points-of-view for his performances. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Joya, whom he met in third grade. They didn’t marry until 2008, but Bill and Joya have found true love, which they share with their amazing orange wonder-cat Thomas J. “Tigger” Schmiggens.

In this ever increasing cynical (and sarcastic world) where it's "not what you know, but who you know" – especially in entertainment/publishing – every once in a blue moon, we get lucky; and I just did. That's exactly how I felt when I heard Bill Lord's audio version of The Samaritan. Lucky for me? You bet. Truth be known, I love audio books. Frank Muller was a genius, bringing to life some of the most commercially successful author's characters. Mr. Muller passed away after a tragic motorcycle accident but other audio readers continue to fill his gigantic void. Scott Brick, Roy Dotrice (Game of Thrones), Campbell Scott, John Bedford Lloyd, and George Guidall come to mind – all are great actors, with a wide range of voices.Stephen Besecker, Author of The Samaritan
Then there's Bill Lord, pretty much one of the new kids on the block in a very competitive market...and I LOVE HIM. I love his work! I feel incredibly lucky to have had Bill bring ALL of my characters to life, not just the key players. I may have invented these characters, but it was Bill Lord who gave them flesh and blood, and a voice – no pun intended. Male, female, young and old, even nationality, I was amazed how in touch Bill was to every scene, every character and their fate. WELL DONE, BILL LORD!!
To Bill Lord, I say: Thank you for making me look good!!! When the second book in the series (EXECUTIVE POWER) is printed, you can bet the farm I'll be hounding you to bring my characters to life...again.
