About Twenty years ago, while I was in the Navy, I was going through a divorce. Naturally, I had bill collectors calling me left and right. One such collector called me to set up a monthly payment plan. She continued to talk for about 25 minutes before she decided to tell me that I had a very sexy voice and how she loved talking to me. Needless to say, that wasn't the last time I had phone conversations with her. I never thought much of it, thinking she was probably just some lonely lady that no one wanted because of her profession.
Not until recently, did this voice topic come up again, until very recently. To make this short, in the last three or four months, I've had numerous people, some strangers, tell me I should be on Radio. I politely said thank you and told them I don't always have much to say.
Today I went to a new Chiropractor for the first time and he began asking question about my work. " Well, I'm a chef I said." As the conversation went on, He said that he believes I missed my calling in life.
Bewildered, I thought to myself, hell I have been doing the same mundane work for almost 26 years now. What could he possible mean? So I replied, "Really!" He was like yeah, you have a golden voice. You need to do something with it. So here I am. If this takes me anywhere, I owe him and anyone who pointed me in this direction a debt of gratitude!

I've been told by numerous people that I need to do something with my voice. As of today I have been a Chef for almost 26 years and it is definitely time for a change!
I'm hoping and praying that someone will help guide me in the right direction. I don't have any experience with voicing, other than having conversation with everyday-great people.
So, f you read this and think your able to give back and become a mentor, it would greatly be appreciated!
