As an entrepreneur business marketing professional for years, I am very comfortable producing to deadlines. Client satisfaction is important to me. I take direction well. If you want me to provide "creative input", I can. Or, I can help guide the process when needed.
I also can write your copy for you.
I've been told my voice is "fresh, perky, happy, friendly, warm, and happy". My strengths are I can master complex writing, such as research writing in sciences, engineering, medical, or psychology, for example. My range is from authoritative / articulate to casual and teen - 20 something speak. Other styles I do well: announcer, teacher, mom or aunt, inspired, flirty or cocky, intimidating, motivational, persuasive, sarcastic, and upbeat.
Age-range: 25 - - 60, female.
Voice tone: Alto to low-alto range. I'm a public speaker, so I am naturally projecting my voice, and I can do sultry whisper copy when requested.
I am from the tri-state Midwest U.S. but have lived a few places and my accent is now a bit mixed: Midwest, Washington D.C. area, Hawaiian, Prairies to West Coast Canadian, and I have lived the longest in Southern California; I have mastered "Val-speak" well. I also am comfortable with Southern and Bostonian. I can also do a convincing Irish accent as I grew up with it.
I am strong on voice matching for accents.
NOTE - I am receiving requests for "Romanian accents." Thank you for the huge complement.
I am Irish American and do not speak, write, or read the Romanian, or any other European language. If you want work performed in Romanian, or any other Eastern European language, it would need to be spelled out phonetically.
I would prefer to use a professional studio who can edit for your final copy.

* We can have a "face-to-face" meeting, if you use SKYPE.
* Once your project starts, I usually can complete it fairly quickly - your deadlines are important to me.
* Prefer to use a pro studio to improve quality and faster turn-around on your project.
If you would like me to take the lead, or "hand-hold" you, through your project I can. I also enjoy being part of your team.
For audio books, I contract through Voices.com or - ACX, if you book is already available on Amazon. For audio books, usually a 15 minute segment is delivered to you first, so we both can be sure of each other's expectations. Then from there, depending on the length of your chapters, chapters are usually uploaded /delivered to you one at a time. If your chapters are "short", then we may choose to do these in like 1-2 hour increments approximately. Yes, corrections, are permitted under contract.
If you have a book or ebook not with Amazon yet, no worries, we can still work together.
PAYMENTS: Voices.com or ACX handles payments on audio books.
