Voice Over Bio I was formally trained in voice acting by Voice Master International. Prior to working as a voiceover, I spent many years as a project manager in in a large UK company. I gave numerous presentations to all sorts of people and customers, which meant I did tons of talking - persuasively, with authority (and charm). I have been a singer in small local bands. Taken together, these skills are very useful when planning and delivering a read. I have done a lot of reading for the local Society for the blind - most of these are reads where clients need a professional, confident voice and production. I love this work and never deliver sub-standard productions. I welcome direction and strive to deliver as quickly as possible. I am a natural story teller, have been all my life. Telling a story means total immersion, tonally in accents and empathy.

Dave Wills is one of our key readers for outside contract work. This includes audio recording of newsletters for local councils, NHS Hospital Trusts, and housing associations. Also information leaflets on cancer, and personal confidential educational reports. Galloway’s produces a monthly entertainment CD, and Dave has contributed by creatively reading stories and poems, for this too.Galloway’s Society for the Blind
We have always found Dave a very pleasant and adaptable person to work with. He has a clear and wide repertoire of different voices and tones that he has used for both serious and more light-hearted readings. He knows the type of delivery each type of material needs, but is always open to suggestions, and direction. He is fastidious in making sure the final recording is up to standard in pronunciation and imparting of the information. A majority of the material we record is designed for the printed word, but Dave can adapt it as he reads, to flow correctly audibly as well. We have found him willing to take direction in a humble and open way, and he will re-take any part that may need working on. He is very knowledgable on a wide range of subjects, and we have no compunction in offering him a majority of our outside readings, and to recommend him to others.

To whom it may concern:
I started writing children’s books about seven months ago and to date, my books have been a great success: So I decided to turn some of my stories into an audio book and then I started contacting several voiceover companies, looking for someone to read my stories. Over a number of weeks I had listened to dozens of voices and had started to make a shortlist; but then I discovered the voice of Dave Wills and for me that was it. I was really impressed with Dave’s voice and having already listened to the voices of well known celebrities, to me Dave was in a league of his own.
I just love Dave’s voice and as well, I found Dave to be the most helpful, supportive, dedicated and professional person you could hope to work with. Dave also has his own studio, so once you book him, just sit back and let Dave do all the hard work and I can assure you that you will be over the moon with the result.
