I posses a naturally low speaking voice with a warm conversational tone. My voice is a buttery-baritone that holds the ear and attention of the listener. Lower tones and clear annunciation lend well to narrations, informational & instructional pieces, and corporate/ professional pieces. My voice is authoritative, confident, and authentic. Other highlights include: Soothing, friendly, fun, inspiring, motivating.

As a newcomer to the voice industry, I am excited about the opportunity to work on an array of projects. In the last half of 2015, I worked weekly in 1-on-1 sessions with a voice coach through the SuchAVoice program. Angela Castonguay was my instructor and together we worked through the initial steps in becoming a confident and competent voice over talent such as: breathe control, voice control, script analysis (identifying your target audience), variation, creating energy, emotion, and movement. Upon completing the courses with Angela, I worked with a copywriter who prepared five custom commercial scripts and five custom narration scripts. My demos were professionally recorded at Zone Recording Studio in Cotati, California.
Throughout my lifetime, people from all walks have commented on my unique voice. In my young adult life, I used my voice as a high school football coach and volleyball coach. I have amassed thousands of hours of coaching experience in which I used my voice to inspire, motivate, explain, and teach. In the years after coaching I worked selling advertising to small local businesses. In this inside sales role, I sold 100% over the phone with no face-face interaction. Making 80-100 outbound calls/day for a year gave me the opportunity to practice a lot of variance and control with my voice. As of recently, my favorite way to use my voice has been as a Dad to my 3 1/2 year old son. As a parent, I have countless opportunities to explain and teach my son about all the things he's interested in and curious about. Additionally I get to read to him in bed at night, and entertain him with stories, voices, accents, and impressions.
I am eager to work on a wide array of projects, and I look forward to making lasting professional connections in this fun, creative, and fulfilling industry.
