EXTREME ENERGY! Charming, funny, and uber enthusiastic!!! I have JUST the voice you're looking for! I'm also available for live narration events in the southeast U.S.A.! ==================================================================== Charlie started his broadcasting career in 1984 at the tender age of 14 as a volunteer announcer at a 5000 watt public AM radio station in rural Pocahontas County, West Virginia. As his experience increased, so did his responsibilities, culminating in the appointment as the morning air personality during the A.M. drive-segment (the most popular time demographically), eventually landing a position as the Director of Operations at the age of 18. He was also appointed as the Assistant Chief Engineer, having a background in electronics design and repair. Charlie joined the Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller when he was 19, and was sent to the Philippines for nearly two years. When he left the Philippines in 1991, he was transferred to North Carolina, where he resumed his radio career part-time at the number-two country radio station in the eastern half of the state. Although hired by the Program Director on a part-time basis, Charlie quickly filled roles normally reserved for full-time employees, such as live remotes and commercial production. He remained with that radio station until a format change in 1999. Charlie took a year-long break from radio, but it wasn’t long until he found himself in the broadcast chair again. In early 2001, Charlie was hired by the number one Adult Contemporary radio station in eastern North Carolina as an air personality, securing the 7 P.M. to Midnight shift Monday through Friday. Charlie began announcing air shows In 1992. He also coordinated with aerial demonstrators and developed scripts to entertain and inform the public. In October 2007, Charlie once again “wowed the crowd”, as the saying goes, when he announced the starting lineup of the NASCAR Sprint Cup “Pep Boys Auto 500” race at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia.

Charlie retired from the Air Force on February 1, 2010, and is now residing in Eastman, Georgia.
