The voice of a newscaster - warm, engaging, trusted.
I earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in sacred music, including study in vocal pedagogy, vocal performance, and choral methods. I am also a TV newscaster, working for a regional CBS/NBC duopoly. I've been involved in some capacity with local broadcast radio since I was in high school, in other words, for over ten years. I've done it all: on-air shifts, call-in show hosting, PSAs, commercial advertising, even voicing podcasts and open/closes for special broadcasts. I look forward to the opportunity to work with your organization!

I became involved in voice work while still in public school, doing PSAs and the occasional commercial spot - as well as an occasional morning show appearance - on a small local FM station. Since then, it seems I've always been involved with a local station wherever my 'day job' (that of a church musician) has taken me. Currently, I'm involved on a volunteer basis with a regional Christian radio network - a 91,000 watt C1 powerhouse, including full-power service in another market of similar size, and several translators serving cities of all size across West Texas and the panhandle. I will be called on occasionally for promotional work and do almost all live remote broadcasts for the station. I also write and voice my own weekly franchise - a package that features a 'more experienced' citizen from the area - that airs on a regional affiliate of CBS news. While I was serving at a small church in Eastland, Texas, I created several voice related ministries that continue to this day; we started with a produced radio devotional tailored to the community that I provided voice-overs for, quickly expanding to a number of web-based platforms including podcasts and video work. I have recently provided spoken word services for a number of non-profit organizations and businesses to which I, my family, or close contacts are affiliated.
I'm now ready to take using my voice professionally to the next level in freelance work. I'm excited for new possibilities... even and especially those that push the boundaries of my previous voice work in radio and television!

When we hired Dustin to be the organist/accompanist at the First United Methodist Church in Eastland, we no idea the talent that we were hiring - talent far beyond just playing music. Dustin became the church’s pianist, organist, assistant choir director, IT specialist, maintenance personnel, and surprisingly, our voiceover expert. Prior to Dustin coming on, we had never created any digital recordings for the church using our own voiceovers. However, Dustin introduced us to a whole new level of advertisement and later, ministry by not only writing and recording these products, but by also providing the voiceovers. He was solely responsible for creating a Podcast ministry that our church still uses today. He designed the outline, created the content, managed the production, and again, provided the voiceovers for the intros and closings. His quality was that of a professional studio and I was constantly astonished by what he could produce using his many talents. I would highly recommend Dustin for this type of work. I can assure you that he is more than qualified and has a tremendous gift for providing this type of assistance.David Bailey, Music Director, First United Methodist Church of Eastland
