Assist veteran or dependents with application process either in person or via phone system. Process all correspondence letters for veteran regarding claims. Return follow-up calls for missing info or at veteran’s request. Submit all transfer requests by scan or fax nationally to other affiliated offices. Assist with inbound and outbound calls for claim status, update or missing information. Contact veteran once any changes are made into system. Claim Diary is updated daily for all inquiries pertinent to individual records. Emails are answered and request completed daily. Weekly, Monthly and Yearly reports are submitted through system for statistics. Other duties as requested.

Review credential packs received for completeness within 3 business days of receipt and notify Provider of any missing items by mail. Update the computer with the information obtained from the credential pack including license numbers and expirations, DEA # and expiration, UPIN #, etc. Prepare and mail or fax out requests for verification including references and verifications of education and training if required
Request AMA and Fed checks on physicians who have submitted credential packs
Request AANA verification on CRNA's who have submitted credential packs. Follow up on all missing documents within one month from receipt sending out second requests where applicable. When file complete, give to VP Administration for initial review in preparation for review by Medical Director. When the approval of the Medical Director has been given, move the completed file to the completed file drawer. Send out re-credentialing applications as requested by recruiters. Process re-credentialing applications as received. Operates a variety of automated office equipment such as a typewriter, photocopier, adding machine, facsimile machine, and computer. e. Performs other duties as assigned, which may include providing clerical support. Takes inbound calls from providers requesting address changes, dependent additions, insurance verifications and authorizations. Route calls to proper personnel, input updated data into system. Coordinated referrals to external physicians and/or treatment centers. Obtain factual information from citizens or potential clients for input into system. Finance invoice preparation. Other duties as requested.
