I have 26 years' experience as a radio air talent (disc jockey and news anchor/reporter). During my DJ days, I did a lot of commercials for the stations I worked for, doing "straight reads" and character voices.

I began my radio career in 1986, working as a disc jockey at a Contemporary Christian FM and country music AM station in Salem, NJ. I then worked for stations playing styles of music ranging from oldies to standards, and became a full-time news anchor/reporter in 2004, remaining in that position until January 2013. Voice-over-wise, my career highlights include a "Rocky and His Friends"-style promo for WVLT radio in Vineland, NJ on which I provided the voices of Rocky the Flying Squirrel, Bullwinkle Moose, Boris Badenov and the narrator, and a commercial for a local humorous newspaper done in the style of the late Johnny Carson's Art Fern character ("Art" was host of a feature on the Tonight Show called the "Teatime Movie"). I also did several "straight reads", using my natural voice and accent--I last did voice-overs for WVLT back in 2004, and some of the spots I recorded still run on that station.
Nothing radio-related--I have a Bachelor of Science degree in a non-broadcasting field.
