I offer same-day turnaround from my home studio, with phone patch available for you to provide live direction if you prefer along with delivery/formatting according to your specs.
I am a 30-year-old warm and friendly goofball specializing in silly, goofy & off-beat characters along with genuine, soothing & happy-go-lucky delivery for bring-a-tear-to-your-eye narration (and occasional deadpan sarcasm in massive run-on sentences) for:
-Financial Corporate Action (Business, Industrial & Training)
Clients include Red Robin, Best Buy, Onion Radio News, Simon & Schuster, AT&T, The Trevor Project, Howcast, and Stone Arch Publishing, to name but a few. Full list available on request.
I live in Minneapolis, and am represented by Moore Creative Talent here in the Twin Cities, Big Mouth Talent in Chicago and Houghton Talent in Atlanta.
I do sketch comedy & improv in my spare time, and am a huge nerd for hockey & punk rock.
Happy to record through your studio or mine, whichever you prefer.
And, of course, thank you for considering me. Please be in touch if you think I might be right for your project.

Few things make me happier than being a voice-overist.
Graduating from Pace University in NYC with a BFA - Acting, I started voicing through making sketch comedy for MNN's I've Got Munchies and with the People's Improv Theater.
Now based in Minneapolis (where my wife and I can afford to live like reasonable human beings), I record from my home studio, Fish Sounds.
I feature same-day turnaround, and begin working on your project as soon as I'm hired. You are welcome to listen in live via phone patch while I record to provide direction, if you like. I can deliver your files in just about any format or delivery method needed.
Happy to say I get re-hired a lot. I've done multiple campaigns for Red Robin, series of educational audiobooks for Stone Arch Publishing, and narrated countless videos for Howcast. If you ever get a job for Comcast, my voice is the one prodding you through all your training.
As always, thank you for considering me. Please be in touch if you think I might fit your project.

I will keep a back-up of the project for one year unless otherwise requested.

“Ian was one the staple voice over artists that contributed to defining the voice of all Howcast Media content. He was always professional, effective, and it was a pleasure to work with him time, and time again.” - Dave Horowitz, Audio Producer, Howcast MediaHowcast
"I've had the pleasure of working with Ian a considerable amount within the last year, and every session he's come in with a smile & willingness to give it his all. His ability to take direction and switch characters & styles has greatly enriched the product and the client's studio experience." - Karen Quale, Audio Producer, Audio RuckusAudio Ruckus
"I'm thrilled with Ian's work on my project. He worked quickly under a tight deadline without fuss, and delivered three options that were all so perfect I had trouble choosing the best one. He's a delight to work with--prompt, professional, courteous, and diligent in his work."Davis & Company
I chose him for this job because I felt his voice sounded more sincere than other demos I received. Not too commercial like a "movie trailer guy" or typical newscaster voice.
My job was of a highly sensitive nature, and he brought a level of genuine caring to the job that I admire.
I highly recommend Ian for your next voice recording need." - Cheryl Ross, Davis & Company
