I have over 25 years of community theatre experience playing numerous roles, including Eliza Doolittle in "My Fair Lady," Widow Corney in "Oliver!" and Sister Mary Amnesia in "Nunsense." I enjoy creating characters with my body and my voice, an actor's primary tools.
I also have always loved entertaining children (both my own as well as those I taught in school) with reading aloud and providing each story character with a distinctive voice.
I grew up with a mom from New York, grandparents from Ireland, and a nanny from England. I have lived in the South for most of my life. I am a lover and mimic of accents and dialects, and I hope to use that talent in voiceover work.
I have done voiceovers for a local cable channel but still consider myself an "almost-beginner" in that I am new to Voices.com and working from home in this field. I am currently in an at-home course offered by Pat Fraley and I look forward to learning all he has to offer.
