An experienced Voice and Stage Actor, I have had the opportunity to portray characters displaying all manner of emotion, attitude and motivation. When creating any character, to me the key word is \"Details\". Whether it is a two sentence Promo, Instructional CD or a Book on Disc, I believe every piece must be very closely examined, blended with the intent of the Client and Director, and performed with the utmost care. The best use of my Voice Over skills would be in Narration, for instance, Books on Disc, Instructional CD/DVD's, (Medical, Industrial, Consumer Products, etc.) Documentary, Educational CD/DVD's (in support of lesson plans). As to vocal style, I recently poled many of the actors I have worked with as to what adjective they would use to describe my voice. The following is a sampling of their replies. Credible, Teacher, Storyteller, Authoritative, Leader, Concerned Parent, Engaging, Friendly and Interested.
