Without grandiosity, I can say I am a voice-over "natural." I have been acting, writing and doing voice-overs for twenty years, and possess a strong facility for creating compelling characters. I am also a sound-alike for Kathleen Turner, Sally Kirkland and Demi Moore. Further, I have very strong mimicry abilities. If so desired, because I am also an accomplished writer,I can help improve existing copy in the moment, right in the booth, or create copy from scratch. My sense of humor is often what lands me the job, as well as the smooth, convincing tone I possess as a narrator. Audiobooks are great for me as with those projects I can combine both by narrating skills and my ability to create characters.
Finally, because of my excellent training, I know how to "squeeze it in" those 30 seconds, when it really should be 45 ;)
....and still make it understandable.
Gosh, this may all a bit "full of myself," but I figure in the career ring is no time to be ultra-modest. I am grateful for my vocal abilities and look forward to working for you!

My voice-over experience is extensive. Twenty years ago places I worked would pay me extra to record their outgoing phone message with a British accent. Then, because I am an actress, I was always doing voices for fun, for my own enjoyment, and people started saying you can make money doing that. And I was off...
Helped script my first demo reel in Seattle where I lived, immediately got a VO agent from reel...shortly after booked a lead in a video game, SIN (role: Elexis Sinclair)...Apparently her skimpy costume and my dulcet tones have given Miss Sinclair a very ardent teenage boy following...then there was Tree Top Apple Juice....then Del Taco...then "Well, heck, let's move to LA and see what I can do there!"...random VO gigs for the multimedia company I was working for there, then my first SAG VO gig ("The General's Daughter,"some ADR, some death grunts)...and Christina Applegate's now defunct show, (voice of offstage beauty pageant announcer)...had to sound authoritative, slightly condascending and gorgeous, all at once...and most recently I had to be funny with words, well, that were not....luckily, we were encouraged to improvise I (Website hidden), it may be of note that a few of the voices in my animation reel were voiced AND written by me.
I have a BFA in musical theatre from The Boston Conservatory where we had EXTENSIVE voice training, as well as an entire year of dialect education. (In our final exam we had to perform 7 monologues back to back using distinctly different dialects in each. For what it is worth, I made a "A" and graduated cum laude and on the Dean's List.
Since leaving school take workshops to "stay sharp" and have been known to perform multi-character plays in my apartment. (Ask the neighbors.)
I have worked in media production and as a copywriter (references avaialable.)
Most recently I wrote a bi-coastal play that was then produced in LA and NYC, had several short stories published, and have now been approached to write the screenplay version of the recently produced play. "These characters are fascinating," I am told. I write characters I could, or would want to, perform. Somehow this seems relevant to your question. If not please forgive.
Lastly, when I go home for Christmas I will be expected touse my VO skills to "entertain the troops," a service I provide happily, because sharing a small bit of the gift I've been given is less expensive than those giant smelly candles they sell at Pottery Barn.
I have access to a full service studio and can turnaround a project for which I am hired within 1-2 days. As well as a strong facility for both character voices and commercial/narrative voicing I also have experience writing copy and dialogue.
