My voice is often described as soft and friendly Lancashire in the north of England. It has depth, versatility and aptitude for producing accents and impressions and a whole host of character possibilities. I have a good ear for reproducing accents and for impersonating voices. In my teaching career I have been called upon to develop a whole range of character voices when reading to classes in an attempt to engage challenging learners.

Whilst studying for a degree in Music Theatre I began to develop an interest in the use of the voice as a form of communication. I took the opportunity to study a module in music technology making full use of a range of microphones, mixing desks and computer software such as Adobe Audition, Cubase and Pro Tools.
I have QTS teaching qualification in Performing Arts and English. My teaching career to date has further allowed me to hone the use of my voice to communicate to a range of audiences. I was employed by my current place of work to produce E-Learning projects for use by other teaching staff to aid in the delivery of the curriculum.
