For the last 15 seasons, Paul has been the Voice of Wrigley Field for one of the most recognizable franchises in professional sports, the Chicago Cubs. During that time, he has called some of the most memorable games in Cubs history including the Kerry Wood 20 strikeout game, the 1998 Wild Card Tie-Breaker, the 2003 NL Central Division Clincher and Game 6 of the 2003 NLCS, known commonly as, "The Bartman Game."
Paul is also an accomplished voice-over actor, having recorded parts on internationally recognized programs like "This American Life" and "Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me" and recorded commercial voice overs and narrations for advertising agencies and direct clients, including BP, Oglivy, Konami, Anheuser-Busch, National Public Radio, The Chicago Cubs, The City of Elk Grove, and technical narrations for surgical procedures.
