Overview

Versatile award winning voice heard around the world daily. Currently the Canadian voice of the NFL and other properties for DAZN, the Netflix of sports as well as the imaging/news promo voice of CTV Winnipeg and share holder/imaging voice of Primordial Radio out of Manchester. Won a Juno Award for narration on Devon Townsend’s space-themed metal album Ziltoid 2. Won imaging honours with Teamrock radio at the UK Academy Awards of Radio and narrated several other award winning television shows and documentaries. Recently voiced a US national campaign for Ziplock and Infinity Wars. I narrated tv series Crime Stories, Yukon Gold, Uncharted Canada and Legend Hunters. I voiced seven characters in Lego’s Legends of China animated series. Voiced concert tour promos for Fleetwood Mac, Crosby Stills and Nash and the Tragically Hip among others with the venerable Larry Semkew of Concert Spots. In 2010, I was the national voice of the Vancouver Whistler Winter Olympic Games, recently did play by play hockey in a Telus ad and am the voice of Calgary Sports and Entertainment doing spots and in-game vo’s for the Flames, Stampeders and Roughnecks. From national commercials like Broadview Security and Kawasaki to local business presentations, I enjoy the variety of the projects. It’s fun working with different producers, the cheque’s don't bounce and sometimes, they give you a shiny trophy. My wife Liesl is a theatre director and playwrite who just recently went back to UBC and completed her Masters and daughter Sophia, a dual degree bi-lingual student who studied Poli Sci abroad at the U of Paris her first two years and is now finishing up at UBC in Vancouver where she also works narrating books, in French. She’s left Dad in the dust. My son Holden, a brilliant musical savant and graffiti writer in his days with us who’s “illegal” portfolio got him accepted into the prestigious Emily Carr School of Art. He was an amazing fellow. That’s a little about me.
