Overview

Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile! My name is Eric and I'm a creative spirit at heart. My day job involves leading a team of marketing writers and auditing their work, as well as writing my own. On nights and weekends, however, I let my creative mind truly go to work. I've written three screenplays, two of which have placed as quarterfinalists or semifinalists in recent contests. I am also dipping my toes in the short story and novel worlds. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication, so my college years were spent writing and presenting many speeches. For a couple of years, I worked in local broadcast television as a News Production Specialist, and I even had some time on the air as a sidekick for a local TV personality named Ned the Dead. I've been interested in VO work for years, so I am eager to get working on expressing my creativity in this medium as well. I've been told I have a calming voice overall, and I hope that doesn't mean it'll put people to sleep! Or, perhaps that may not be so bad after all, if people need to listen to something to calm them down or get them to sleep during stressful times. I hope we can work together soon!
