Overview

Although I am a beginner in this space, I spent many years conducting virtual meetings and presentations with cross functional teams working in the technology world. Some virtual facilitations were in a leadership role, guiding team dialogue, while other roles focused on teaching and delivering technical/procedural training material.

In other words, I am very comfortable working with virtual audio/video tools and understand from firsthand experience the importance of projecting voice and tone to impact the audience, in order to achieve the desired outcome of the message.

On a personal note, I have been a reader/writer/narrator since my early childhood; my mother was a 1st grade teacher which inspired a great love of reading, particularly the narrating process. I grew up in Taiwan, and during high school I would teach English summer camps in my neighborhood, teaching fundamentals of the English language to the children and families that lived nearby. When my son was an infant, I recorded readings of bedtime stories so he would always be able to hear my voice for the times I had to travel for work.

Reading and writing are gifts in their own right, but the narration process really makes the magic (and often the comprehension) happen.
