So for fun. We found a recipe on page 308 of Better Homes and gardens new cookbook 10th edition. This recipe is for orange sauce. This tastes great with gingerbread or ice cream. Ingredients are as far as one quarter cup of sugar. We'll need one tablespoon of corn starch, one quarter teaspoon, finely shredded orange peel, three quarters cup, orange juice and two teaspoons of margarine or butter in a sauce pan combine sugar corn starch and orange peel. Stir in the orange juice cook and stir till thickened and bubbly cook and stir two minutes more removed from heat. Stir in margarine or butter serve. Worm makes three quarter cup serves 4 to 6 the microwave directions in a two cup measure mix sugar, corn starch and orange peel. Stir in the orange juice micro cook uncovered on 100% power high for 2 to 3 minutes or till bubbly stir. Once stir in the margarine serve warm. Here's for lemon sauce. Prepare as above except substitute lemon peel for the orange peel and one half cup water plus one tablespoon of lemon juice for the orange juice makes two thirds of a cup or four servings.
