This is short story in English read for elementary school kids. It has been read keeping in mid the specific target audience as children. I worked on narrating such stories when I worked as a narrator for Pratham Educational Foundation.

Yeah. Simba the sailor. When we travel, we get different experiences. Some are good, some are bad. This is an adventure story of a sailor named Sinbad. Sinbad went on a trip by ship. He went to earn money. Heavy rain started, it went in the wrong direction. The ship got lost, it, hit against rocks and broke into pieces. Sinbad found a piece of wood. He used it to go to the shore. Somehow he reached an island. A few more of his companions reached two. The people on the island were managers. They gave Sinbad and his companions something to eat. Sinbad realized there was some problem with the food. He warned his companions not to eat it, but they eat the food it made them grew big like animals. Then the man eaters eat Sinbad's companions. Sinbad got scared and ran away. Soon he reached the other part of the island. A kind king lived there. The king was fond of horse riding, he sat on the horse, but there was no saddle. Sinbad, with the help of carpenter and blacksmith, made a saddle. King was happy he gave golden diamonds to Sinbad. Soon Sinbad became rich. Do you want to listen to the story again?
