to begin to tackle this issue, let's break down an empathy map canvas for the Cherokee people. The situation they face is the disengagement of the majority of their tribe members who live at large. Our goal is to re engage, create opportunities and experiences that all tribe members will be proud and excited to be a part of success may be hard to measure initially, as engagement is subjective. However, over time, a unit of measure could be comparing the lives of members living on and off the land today at large, Cherokee tribe members statistically see more success than their peers living on the land. The Cherokee nation sees and hears their at large citizens wanting to be more involved with the tribe, But for whatever reason they are not. They have taken action setting up outreach programs, establishing an advisory council and talking about having better communication with satellites c and communities to re engage and build a stronger sense of self determination. But still the numbers are staggering. There's much to be gained in the way of engagement If we can identify current gaps, create outlets and space for inclusion and get all members feeling excited, proud and connected to one another, no matter where they live.
