Garland i. S. D. Agricultural Science is the longest standing vocational program in Garland I. S. D. The current ag barn is outdated and undersized and a new ag barn would bring our agriculture program into the 21st century. As the existing ag barn sits, the students have no area for educational experiences, only stalls. A new ag barn would allow new programs to flourish, like natural resources and agricultural engineering. Consolidating programs into one state of the art. Ag barn would lower costs, create new experiences, recruit younger students and promote community events. Students from across the district would have access to classrooms and laboratories that will help them solve modern day problems in an urban environment.
