An Entrepreneur and the first Filipino Narrowcaster. The one that started Narrowcasting using CADIO, The Filipino Version. Former FM Radio DJ and broadcaster.
CADIO is a non-traditional, interactive ADVERTISING, composed of digital media devices, a new generation mobile system (for audio, video, booth, stage, lighting, high-tech effects, and other event requirements), a brand activation strategy focusing on public captive market, a way to maximize ceiling-wall speakers of narrowcast coverage (also commercial establishments), and a medium's (narrowcast coverage) agent/provider. This is also an INNOVATIVE ENTERTAINMENT, a practical way of entertaining people. CADIO came from the words “cable radio.” This is why it is pronounced "k-dio." Cable, because we use it to narrowcast messages through ceiling-wall speakers. Radio, because it sounded like an FM radio when hearing it. The term cable radio connotes the idea of subscribing to different FM bands which is similar to cable TV. For us, it will be so difficult to ask listeners to subscribe. Instead, we combined the two words to have a new image and system of dissimenating messages through narrowcasting. CADIO is like an FM radio sound device or a digital player and system that can be set-up, played and heard inside a narrowcast coverage or a particular place or a commercial establishment such as airplanes & airports, amusement parks, banks, boats & piers, boutiques, buildings & elevators, buses & terminals, business centers, clinics, couriers, department stores, gas stations, government places, hardware stores, hospitals, hotels, hypermarkets, malls, offices, places of events, private places (houses/cars), restaurants, salons, schools, shops, show rooms, sports & gyms, stores, supermarkets, trains & stations, warehouse clubs, etc. CADIO also uses cables and antennas (the same frequency and reach level of a wireless microphone) when hooking up its CADIOaudio-boothSystem to its narrowcast coverage's PA system. CADIO here is under NARROWCASTING which is another form of broadcasting. CADIO music and commercial programs are in FM broadcasting sound format.
