During my school time, I made two 2 weeks trip : one at Southern England at 12 years old, and one at eastern United States at 15 years old. It was very benefic to me in transforming this school language in a more spontaneous language for me. Since obtaining my C1 certification at 17 years old, I tried to read books and watch films in English as often as possible. And since one year, I'm checking every new word I don't know.
I'm a quick learner, so even if I don't have many experiences in translating (apart from doing for my family), I'm confident in my will to perfect things to close the gap. If I have to choose between a UK or US english, I'll say that I have more a UK accent and vocabulary, but I can adapt to the US vocabulary too. About French, I like to express myself with precise words. I don't stick to basic French at all when writting a novel story for exemple. And I like finding the equivalent expression between English and French.
