What is a Voice Call
A voice call involves a two-way conversation between two or more users. Plivo will act as the intermediate to connect these users. Once a voice call is accomplished, then the connected users can communicate with each other. For voice calls on the Plivo voice platform, multiple call legs will be involved based on the call flow, and each call leg will be considered as a separate call.

For example, in a Call Forward use-case, the call connection between the caller & the Plivo voice platform is considered as one call, and the call connection between the Plivo voice platform & the forwarded recipient is another call. Possible communicable devices that will be involved in a voice call are Browser App or Mobile App or a VoIP phone or Mobile phone or Landline.

Call Legs
A common term you will see while using the Plivo Voice API product and its features is Call Legs. A call can cont
