the cell raft technology solves several of these problems in a unique and highly innovative manner. Cells are deposited in a cell suspension post transfunctioner manipulation onto a cell raft array made up of thousands of micro fabricated tissue culture based micro wells called sell rafts. A reasonable percentage of these cells settle down in a raft of single cells, as dictated by Poisson distribution. This provides a natural flask like cell culture environment, where cells communicate with each other via shared media, allowing for exchange of cytokines and growth factors. Mimicking the exact phenomenon is a flask reactor or tissue culture plate. The cells are never single deposited into a well. This helps maintain a high cell viability and proliferated, or metastatic index, which ultimately results in a higher number of clones.
