About

I have excellent speaking and writing skills. An outstanding work ethic and a beautiful British accent. I am quite good at performing a German accent, too, but do not speak much of the language, as I dropped it a year ago and haven't expanded on my knowledge of the language for a while. I'm happier to work out exclusive prices for any employers, and will often work for free if the job(s) are not too taxing on my time. I'm just here to help others with a skill of mine. Any and all feedback is so greatly appreciated, thank you for your time,
David. K

Voice Over Experience

Script Writer/Presenter

BBC Young Reporters • Casual / On-call

Nov 2020 - Nov 2020

I wrote the script for and narrated a documentary on Clywedog Dam for a submission to the BBC. This was my first experience voice acting, but I believe it came out pretty well. We recorded the entire thing in the day and only had to reshoot some scenes two, maybe three, times. Overall excellent work from my team and myself.

Script Writer/Presenter

BBC Young Reporters • Casual / On-call

Jan 2021 - Mar 2021

I have been currently working on a script, derived from information I researched myself on the Pryce Jones building in Newtown, Powys. This building was basically the Amazon of the 19th century, and me and my team are submitting this documentary (which I have been narrating) to the governor of BBC Cymru in the following weeks.

Podcasting

Anchor • Self-employed

Oct 2020 - Dec 2020

For a couple of weeks, I recorded a podcast, talking about relevant issues and events that were happening at the time of recording, which include, but are not limited to: The US presidential elections, new additions to large videogame franchises and the BLM movement, available to listen to on Spotify, Anchor, Google Podcasts, RadioPublic, Breaker and Pocket Casts. However, I dropped this project after a few weeks, as working alone was unenjoyable regarding the podcast.

Actor

Llanidloes High School • Casual / On-call

Aug 2020 - Aug 2020

I was the primary actor of two different characters (a wasteland scavenger and masked ravager) In a small project titled Reticulum. This was my first piece of acting and I'm proud of my work, albeit entry level. This was an enjoyable little task I did for a friend, even though I'm not actually apart of the media studies class.

Actor

Llanidloes High School • Casual / On-call

Mar 2021 - Mar 2021

A few days ago, I stayed behind at school to help a friend work on a second movie trailer, this time being a horror. I acted as a killer and all of us performed our roles with utmost excellence. This was used in the group's media study grade at the AS level.

Commentator

Youtube • Self-employed

Nov 2019 - Present

I frequently talk and narrate over videogames while recording youtube videos, to hone my skills at commentating and being able to convey emotion and drama through my voice to keep listeners engaged with my enjoyable accent and spry, positive attitude. This is a great way to hear me in a natural environment.

Voice Actor

HitRecord • Casual / On-call

Oct 2020 - Present

HitRecord is a website that allows creators to share their work online and, for no cost, enquire voice actors, animators, writers, singers and artists to help them complete or improve their own projects. I have applied my voice to many different requirements, such as reading a dark and scary ASMR story or comedic sketches and more dramatic or poetic readings. It has been a wonderful website to start on, and my account and work will be linked as followed. If you want to hear my voice in a sub-professional voice acting environment and tone(s), I would recommend viewing my work on this website.
