Paul Herbst

Aged 54, and sometimes jokingly referred to as “The Voice” in my hometown, I have spent many years in the broadcasting, public speaking and music industry. I started broadcasting in 1986, so being behind a microphone is a pretty comfortable place for me. I have also made countless adverts and done many voice overs for corporate videos, book readings and the like. My voice could best be described as warm, deep and mature and I have done most of my work as a formal, sincere narrator, although I might experiment with acting and role playing voices, if the right opportunity arises. My accent is pretty neutral, somewhere between a South African and a British accent, the kind of accent that will make you wonder where it comes from.
