Sometimes George felt the responsibility to be overwhelming. He never complained to the others, but the burden took its toll. At one time, he thought perhaps he would become a priest. But circumstances have destroyed that dream. The idea of living a pious, quiet life appealed to him. He wholeheartedly believed in God's word and the Catholic doctrine and thought he would make a good priest his faith and believe for now, eating at his insights because what he was about to do was completely the opposite of God's word.
