the star methodology of interviews stands for situation task action and result Before examining that we should know as an interviewer. You should be looking at the assignment, the duties and the accomplishments of the candidate. And as for the candidate they should be able to qualify and quantify their actions and the situation itself in order to be subjective in laying out their accomplishments. So let's examine what does start mean the S. Stands for situation. You as an interviewer, you would ask the candidate to describe the context within which a job was performed for the task. You would ask for a description of the individual's responsibility to deliver in that situation. For the action part, you would ask the candidate, how did they complete the endeavored challenge. And for the results you would ask them what are the outcomes and you should expect to have clear positive outcomes from the situation you were asking about.
