I’ve always been fond of acting and entertaining people. I think it’s because I was an only child, constantly vying for my parents’ attention with the latest groundbreaking Gemma Hadfield production, carefully and lovingly recorded onto a 90 minute tape that would later enjoy gathering dust beneath my bed.
I’ve never had advanced equipment; my dad’s old tape recorder was good enough and my Casio kid’s keyboard with no battery cover provided the soundtrack.
Now don’t worry, I don’t use an old tape recorder now, I do have a laptop and a microphone, albeit not any a studio professional would choose, but it records sound pretty decently, and hey, that’s the important thing right?
I have a young, bright, clean voice and I enunciate my words clearly and precisely. My native accent is English, East Midlands to be exact, however I can turn my voice to Northern American too.
I am also able to do a pretty comical Indian accent that I think would fit perfectly for a humorous radio ad or maybe a flash animation, whatever you like! And finally, I can imitate a small child or toddler which again, would fit for radio ads etc.
If you’re looking for a singer for your particular project, then I may just fit the bill! I have an alto voice and it fits best for ballads and rock/punk music.
Additionally I have some stage acting experience, having played major roles in several drama productions hosted at my school. These include:
The Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare, in which I played Shylock.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream, also by Shakespeare and in this I played Titania
And finally, Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer, and here I was King Arthur.
I have a mature, upbeat attitude and try and add my own creative spark to all projects I undertake. I guarantee that any results you receive from me will be only of the highest quality and I will endeavour to get them to you as quickly as I can!
I appreciate your interest and hope to do business with you soon!
Warm Regards
/Gemma Elouise Hadfield
