Ibrahim Abulata

I worked with Ibrahim Salah in a few Disney projects in Arabic. He is talented, punctual, flexible, can sing in various styles and different ranges. His voice is strong and has a distinctive character. He is a fast learner and he gets director notes very quickly and effectively. It’s a pleasure to work with Ibrahim whether on the professional, artistic, or human level.

My collaborations with Ibrahim have taken a hundred different guises since 2010. I was first introduced to him as a drummer, then as a vocalist (where he played Aladdin in one of my very early orchestrations). After these early experiments, our more mature" collaborations started in perhaps 2017, when he sang (both lead vocals, and background vocals) in an Accapella theme I composed for the "Jeel" app, where he also served as a sound designer and sound supervisor. I'll keep it concise because I can only imagine the list of collaborations getting longer and longer.
