Irina Kara

I have studied at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Moscow under the mentorship of legendary Soviet film director Sergei Bondarchuk (“War and Peace” Oscar winner, 1968). After 4 years of full time training I continued studying at the post graduating course in elocution and voice-production. A
Then after 6 months long theatre tour in Canada with the theatre Igroki in 1992 I have settled in England. Since then I working on many projects with a Russian speaking theatre group Xameleon and other production companies. My extensive voice-over experience in England, Germany and Russia and training in the Russian classical voice production method makes me one of the unique voices in the UK.
