Minnesota, home to 10,000 lakes and millions of people who share its rich heritage. Pond hockey uh, was part of the fabric here in Minnesota. We just walked down from our homes, put our skates on in a snowbank and get on the, get on the pond and start skating. My dad, if he were alive today, he would say his greatest memory was spending time with his friends playing on the pond. So how do you create a lifelong connection between these people and the Minnesota wild? You make them part of a new tradition by asking them to contribute something all minnesotans share. They're taking that idea of home ice to a whole new level with a campaign called, this is our ice. We're gonna mix the ice at Excel Energy Center with pond water and lake water from across the state of Minnesota this year. I mean it doesn't get any better than that. More than 2400 fans brought little vials to help make the ice there ice at Excel Energy Center. Whoever concocted, this is genius. Kind of gave me goose bumps. You have communities as far as up evolet and in Lake of the woods, bringing their, their water to be on the Excel Energy Center ice. We brought our water from Casey Lake because we've all been staying there since we were little, this is our, I'm from wiper Lake. We grew up on that lake. We've skated on that lake, fish on that lake. Talk to and my water's from kimball in honor of my best friend, Tim Holtz who passed away a year ago. Anything that can connect our amazing fans to our game make a tight knit community. That's where traditions really hold deep in the land of 10,000 ice rinks. We're creating a deeper connection to the Minnesota wild than ever before, pouring together passion from all corners of the state and starting a new tradition to last a lifetime.
