A typical family based in our community can be a challenging place to raise a family jobs are scarce and the weather is so harsh that at times it is nearly impossible to provide food for my family. There is no such thing as running water in the villages where we live. In fact, we often have to share our water with animals that are grazing nearby. Thankfully, the community center offers me hope there is a loans program offered that I was able to access through this program. I was able to start my own business selling supplies in town. I not only received the microphone, but also budgeting and management training. This brings me a small monthly income so that I can provide basic necessities for my wife and Children. On top of this, there is a training program designed to teach people in our community more effective ways of farming on a small plot of land. I can now divide my land up to grow not just corn or mature oak, but also cabbage, kale and beans so that we can have more nutritious meals. I am part of a community of people now that want to support me as I provide for my family as best I can
