The autumn sun was beginning to set, and Terry was hoping the dragon would know where to find him before the darkness. He hadn't seen him in so long and worried. He had met with trouble. After all, Terry thought, who wasn't out to capture one of the dragons villagers wanted a dragon for his magic or his scales, or simply to own a fabled beast. The dragons were always in danger, but then Terry heard a distant sound that brought chills to his skin. It was the gentle flapping of giant wings. The smooth, flowing sound grew louder, and the air began to gather around him in a tender breeze that soon turned ferocious. He was coming. The dragon was all right.
