She spoke to the moon more than she spoke to the people in her life. It sounds harsh, but it might be true, knows all. And every feeling that flows through her veins, it was nonjudgmental and sat idly as she rambled about whether it was ever on her mind, she would find peace in the dark as it consumed everything it touched. It knew her more than most people did. And even when the moon was long gone and the sun was high in the sky, you could find her scrambling to try to find some semblance of comfort in the darkness.
