marvelously unique human beings are not special, at least according to the London Zoo. In 2000 and five, the zoo introduced ah four day exhibit humans in their natural environment. The human captives were chosen through an online test. To help visitors understand the humans. The zoo workers created ah sign detailing their diet habitats and threats. According to the zoo spokesperson, the goal off the exhibit was to downplay the uniqueness off human beings. Now, one participant in the exhibit seemed to agree. When they see humans as animals here, it kind of reminds them that we're not that special. What a stark contrast toe. What the Bible say's about human beings, God fearfully and wonderfully made us in his image. What a stark contrast. Oh, boy. Bob. Hey, Sam. Good to see you. How's it going? Yeah, Good. Working a lot. And you? I went back to school. Good for you. Was there a problem? And I had to retake one of my final exams. I thought I had, you know, I thought I had it, but apparently that was about five point short, so I had to take a remedial class and go back and you know, but well, it seems better now. Well, that's good. I hope you're not too down about it. You know, sometimes we fall down, and sometimes we rise up. Just, you know, it's just a part of life. Were you able to get some assistance? Yes. I had a principal investigator on one of my T A's. They came to assist me, and that that helped a lot. So we took the exam yesterday, and I'm waiting to hear back from my, uh, my professor and see what? How? What happens? I feel good about it, though. Well, that's good. Well, uh, myself and Trish, we're gonna be around this weekend, so if you want to join us, we're gonna have We're having a barbecue. Okay. Oh, I love that. After all the whole stress out, I'll definitely be there. Thank you so much. We'll have a You have a good day in YouTube. Bye. Um, good evening, everybody. I have a question for you all today. What is a bad habit? Yes, I know. I know none of us want to leave alive. Weighed down by bad habits. When you see a devotional, you know there's always an opportunity to leave some of the path behind. As we examine our patterns off thinking and set in fresh goals for ourselves. I learned a little while a goal that the word habit comes from the Latin habitants, meaning condition or appearance. You see our secret habits demonstrate a great deal about the rial condition or state off us as a people. They often show us something of what is actually going on in our hearts and minds. They also give us an idea of what we fear or worry about. So I have come to conclusion that a bad habit is a regular tendency or practice that has become almost involuntary. In other words, when we say I don't like it, but I can't help it, it's refreshing to be able to come to a conclusion. I read a book about a habit breaker, and I, you know, it defined. It was a definition here about a negative habit as a behavior that is detrimental to our physical or mental health and something that rubs us off peace, it says. Ah, bad habit isn't always the same as an addiction, although it can definitely be a gateway to one so I find it fascinating. And that was the reason why I brought the question to you all today. What is a bad habit? So we're gonna talk about it for those of you that I love the Bible. The Bible identifies many things that leads us in tow. Unhelpful patterns such as complaining, overeating, indulgent, poor spending gossip, malicious talk, gambling, wasting money, criticizing others over work, self gratification and, in fact, laziness. So I ask you, how many poor habits can you spot in a chapter off your life All my life today? I'll leave it that for that. Then we'll come back and recess in about 10, 15 minutes to del, you know, to delve more into the topic. And you all could give me your opinion. Okay, well, let's take a 10 minute recess.
