My natural voice is deep and gravelly with sensuous and engaging tones. These qualities enable my voice to command the attention of an audience, who become unconsciously drawn in to the product, service or subject matter I am talking about. Having worked in sales for many years, including radio advertising, I understand the importance of delivering the right message, in the right way, for the right price! For this reason I choose the appropriate style of voice to suit each individual subject matter. From suave and sophisticated British gentleman, to upbeat and edgy London boy (with an appropriate dose of cockney accent included!), my delivery is both convincing and influential irrespective of style. Having spent more than 10 years delivering Corporate presentations and conducting public speaking, my voice provides clarity, assurance and assertiveness. This generates interest, belief and trust which leads to the will to participate and where appropriate, buy! With these attributes my voice lends itself extremely well, not only to commercials, but also to other types of voiceover projects such as training, education and narration. Having decided to put my Corporate lifestyle behind me some 8 years ago, I now live on the beautiful and sunny island of Tenerife, which is one of the Canary Islands, just off the coast of Africa. This environment provides an inspirational setting for my voiceovers. Having previously lived there for 6 years, I speak Spanish with a good accent for an English person (so my Spanish friends tell me!). As an individual, I am a warm and outgoing person, who has a desire to make the most out of life (see experience below!). Whilst I have a mature and serious side, there is still that cheeky London cockney boy looming in the background! All of which is reflected in my works. As you will see from my demo, I have recently completed a number of recordings for local businesses since arriving back in Tenerife in December 2009 (following a stint on an American Cruise Ship which took me around the Med and South America!). Having recently discovered voices.com, I hope it will be my passport to marketing my voice much further afield – worldwide even!
