Sing for your supper is really the story of Thomas. Weston of the witching 10 year old boy who looks most ordinary, but is most odd. The time is the summer of 1926. The places saw com a seaside resort on the south coast of England. The Westerns combined raffish nous with striving respectability, Philip. He cannot afford the rest, but their holidays are spent in lodgings and boarding houses all over the map, and their companions are the other members of the Moonrakers Company, sometimes flashy or cd or down and out, but always friends. The Children's needing neither the cozy old darling nor the gruff old tyrant usually conjured by the word nanny blanches, heart and head work in excellent balance. Suddenly after americans invade their circle, the westerns grow rich, they make new friends and it's evident that old friendships will slowly fade away throughout the cast of Moonrakers 1926 phillips, shabby review, dance and sing and their routines and lyrics are hilariously and horrifyingly recorded during this Enchanted and Enchanting Summer. Each character embarks on a private journey and arrives at a destination very distant from his starting place, as the weeks run by the reader, experiences like comedy and forest realms of fantasy and near tragedy, living in his two worlds of reality and illusion and asking no questions, thomas simply lets events bear him along. But at the novel's end, he makes the first momentum this momentous decision of his life. This rich and delightful novel is completing itself. There will, however, be two more novels about the life of thomas Weston to complete the trilogy, entitled Close of the King's son
