Voice Over Testimonials

Marlin is genuine talent and a pleasure to work with. He’s a skilled performer, who’s always professional, takes direction well and works easily under varying conditions. He’s become a go-to talent for projects of all kinds, and we recommend him without reservation.

Marlin May narrated my hybrid Irish American memoir, "Confessions of a Shanty Irishman." It is not an easy book to read aloud since there are many voices, some of them Irish, and the book has a lot of dialogue which can challenge any voice over talent. Mr. May's delivery was warm, engaging and straightforward. The accents were suggested, which works well for an audiobook, and he was very professional in making corrections and meeting deadlines. He is a fine, expressive voice over talent, quite versatile, and I am sure will bring many books to life.

Marlin's rich, gravelly voice was perfect for "The Agency," a saga of greed and betrayal that follows the evolution of show business from vaudeville to Vegas to the corporate intrigue of late-20th-century Hollywood. Added to that, his smooth professionalism made him a delight to work with as well.

Frank Rose, author of "The Agency" and "The Art of Immersion"
