On May 11, we launched fearless ideas. The campaign for Maryland. The most ambitious campaign in our 165 year history. With the goal of reaching $1.5 billion dollars in support. We set out to expand our academic and research enterprise, integrates science with the arts, developed a generation of global citizens and inspire the success of every one of our amazing students today. We proudly celebrate a historic milestone in the advancement of our university. Yeah, We have not just reached our 1.5 billion goal, we are running past it. The legacy of the fearless ideas campaign goes beyond breaking glass dollars and donors. It's a celebration of a campus transformed an academic enterprise emboldened and a generation of students inspired even as we mark this moment, we understand that our work is only beginning. The facilities we have built will foster a new era of creativity, collaboration and Discovery. The scholarships we have awarded will advance the dreams of the next generation of chirps the experiences we have provided, will extend learning beyond the classroom and the knowledge we have discovered will improve the lives of all humankind. This was a campaign of ideas and promise, discovery and opportunity. It is about what we have built and what we are building. Like no other moment in our history, we are poised to harness the collective power of our faculty researchers, staff students and nearly 400,000 alumni around the world to take on the grand challenges of our time. That is both the legacy of fearless ideas and the future of the University of Maryland. Mm hmm. Yeah. Mhm.
